We love Advent and Christmas at St Ives Methodist church. Not just because it is the moment that God tells the world in a tiny baby that he loves every person in every time. It is a wonderful time to gather and celebrate and be a community together.

It is breathe is Sunday and if you are anything like us you could do with the space to be still and reflect a little before the busyness of this time of year really gets going.
In this advent season, traditionally a time of preparation and anticipation our theme is ‘watch’. We will turn our gaze inwards and look for the things that shape us and look to the future for what God might be calling us to.
There will be spaces of silence, rituals for reflection, videos and chants, stillness and readings from scripture.
It will last about an hour and we would love it if you could stay for refreshments afterward if you can, but we understand if you need to get off home.
